Welcome to the newest Chinese Language Test Center at the Confucius Institute at BCIT.

Many people has shown a great interest in learning Chinese thanks to the growing exchange in business, trade, technology, education and culture between China and other country. In recent years, the study of Chinese has become extremely important for Canada and especially for British Columbia because Vancouver is now a hub of international, cultural, and economic exchanges with China as well as home to a growing population of Chinese Canadians. Proficiency in Chinese has become a qualification for those who want to study or work in China , Hong Kong , Taiwan.

HSK, BCT, YCT Test, are China 's three official state level standardized tests. These tests assess the Chinese language proficiency of non-native Chinese speakers.

The Confucius Institute at BCIT is a non- profit institution aiming to promote Chinese language teaching, learning, testing, certification and inter-cultural exchange in Canada. By establishing "Chinese Language Testing Center", we hope many Chinese learners in the greater Vancouver area will have the opportunity to assess their linguistic achievement and obtain a certificate of proficiency which will serve them in any academic or career pursuit that requires Chinese language skills.
